A downloadable game

A short VHS Horror game inspired by "Slender: Eight Pages".

[WARNING: This game contains loud noise and flashing lights]

CONTROLS

  • Move: W,A,S,D
  • Interact: Left Click
  • Flashlight: Right Click
  • Run: Shift
  • Pause: Esc
  • Quit: Backspace (While Game is Paused)

GAMEPLAY

The game pretty much plays the same as the original. You have to collect all the Eight Pages scattered around the woods, while avoiding contact with Slenderman.

My first ever project that I was able to finish. Enjoy :)

KNOWN ISSUES

Low FPS on lower end devices because of too much polygons, most specifically the fences

An eerie and unique reinvention of the "Slender-Man" mythos. Fantastic job on the game. 

I loved the atmosphere very much. It has that blend of big forest and creepy sound design with exceptional environment. Solid experience. Although, I was a bit uneased by the scale of the map - it was too big. I guess, it is a subjective opinion, but even with the original game, the map is a bit large. In this particular case, from the beginning it was hard to navigate, but the idea of this being a VHS style really immersed me and it peaked at that point. 

I would love to see the continuation of this. Great job and good luck with the future projects. Cheers!
